Clinical supervision for graduate psychotherapists, counsellors and other health professionals.

I believe in a supervision environment which is not governed by anxiety and fear but which values curiosity, intelligent kindness and the truth that it is our 'mistakes' that provide our greatest learning and therefore they are to be valued. I also feel it should be enjoyable.

 

While I personally work from a broadly analytic model held within a contemplative perspective I believe in supporting each supervisee to discover and deepen what sort of therapist they individually are. In my experience what is important is not only our theoretical understanding and our therapeutic skills but also who we deeply are. Being 'in accord' with ourselves, being at ease and not governed by fear is, I believe, our most precious healing tool.
